The Best Connection are currently looking for Full Time Class 1 and 2 Drivers for a logistics company based in Bedford. Drivers will be responsible for delivering goods across the UK. Details: Drivers will be required to undertake an assessment prior to placement Monday to Friday 04.00am - 16.00pm start Temporary to Permanent opportunity following successful trial period Rates of pay: Basic pay rate - 20.00 per hour 27.00 per hour on a Bank Holidays Job description: General driving duties, observing current legal and best practice delivering and collection to/from the customer's premises or other locations Delivering products on behalf of the customer Use of electronic POD and up to date technology (full training provided if required) Assisting with loading and unloading if required Good communication and customer service Requirements of the LGV/HGV Class 1 and 2 Driver A full UK C/C+E licence (essential) No more than 6 points on your licence No previous disqualifications (DD,TT,DR,CD,IN) Good knowledge of drivers hours and WTD regulations Other benefits of working with The Best Connection Pension Contributions 28 days paid holiday (pro rata) Weekly Pay24/7 contact with friendly and helpful consultants Online Payslips up to 48 hours before pay Ongoing assignment Benefits & Requirements: 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday) CPC Driver Qualification Card Digi-Card Required Driving licence required Licence - Category C Licence - Category C+E Induction Training Ongoing Assignment Overtime Available Pension Scheme Possible permanent position following a successful trial period Shift Premiums Training Provided #J-18808-Ljbffr
