This role is full of opportunities to demonstrate clinical and strategic leadership at Trust level and within North Central London.As a member of the Senior Pharmacy Team, you will work collaboratively with the Deputy Chief Pharmacist in ensuring clinical pharmacy services are delivered in a safe and effective manner and will provide wider leadership to the entire pharmacy department.Main duties of the jobTo develop a consistently high quality clinical pharmacy service to the Emergency and Integrated Medicine (EIM) Integrated Clinical Service Unit (ICSU).To developing the strategic vision and roadmap for pharmacy services within this ICU, taking into account the diverse skills of the wider pharmacy team.To work closely with the multidisciplinary team, to develop pharmacy within the various specialities within the EIM ICUS. These will include Acute and Emergency Medicine,Gastroenterology, Respiratory and Cardiology.To support audit and research within the teams and promote the use of Quality Improvement (QI) methodology at all opportunities.The post holder will support the development of emerging clinical pathways that will exist within EIM and identify opportunities to promote integrated working with Community Servicesand Primary Care.To act as a member of the senior pharmacy team and provide strategic leadership both within the pharmacy department and to the wider Trust.About usWhittington Health serves a richly diverse population and works hard to ensure that all our services are fair and equally accessible to everyone.
