Join to apply for the Senior Assembly Team Leader role at Brufau, Obiol, Moya & Asociados - BAC Engineering Consultancy GroupWe are seeking a proactive and people-focused Senior Team Leader to support and lead the Assembly team. The successful candidate will coordinate daily operations, support team performance, and ensure safety, quality, and delivery targets are consistently achieved across all mechanical assembly areas.The role requires close collaboration with Planning, Machining, Logistics and other support functions to secure flow and resolve issues quickly.Typical Work Activities Include, But Are Not Limited ToLeadership & People ManagementLead and coordinate Assembly Operators to meet production requirementsConduct performance reviewsReport absences, manage attendance and track holidaysProvide daily shop floor support, coaching and feedbackDaily OperationsAllocate workloads and monitor output against targetsEnsure correct use of tools, parts, documentation and test facilitiesDeliver to quality, quantity and delivery expectationsTier Management & CommunicationUpdate boards and lead meetingsReport KPIs and elevate issues affecting SQDCContinuous Improvement & EngagementMaintain and drive 5S standardsEncourage kaizens and safety observationsOperational ControlEnsure stock accuracy via recording and cycle countsMonitor workflow to meet departmental and plant goalsSkills And Experience RequiredPractical knowledge of mechanical assemblyUnderstanding of hydraulic assembly processesExperience in production or operations environmentsPC literacy for reporting and documentationAwareness of customer deliverables and quality impactPersonal QualitiesClear and confident communicatorDecisive and proactiveResilient and collaborativeAble to prioritise under pressureTeam player focused on improvementHoursMonday-Friday 07:30-15:30Hours per week37.50 hours per weekSalary£34,125 per annumSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionManufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
