Company Benefits Overtime rates Company van when working away Enhanced site rates Ongoing training and development About the company A growing engineering business which specialises in servicing clients within the power and renewable energy sector, the company covers design, manufacture and installation of projects. The Electrical test and installation fitter role Due to expanding client base and contracts the company are looking to recruit Electrical test and installation fitters, to work on both site in Chester and around the country, work dependant. This position has come due to the result of new business projects and strong order books presently and in the future. Responsibilities Perform testing on electrical switchboards, including IR testing Carry out testing of cabling on modular systems Preparing test reports Attend sites to install switchboard and substations Completing risk assessments for site work Liaising with site contractors Working with intricate wiring Building electrical boards Able to interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams About You The ideal candidate will have experience as an Electrical Fitter and Installer in a similar industry. Have a Valid ECS card. Working history in testing, installing and modifying switchboards/switchgears. Able to do testing of control circuits. Experience working safely on site. Qualifications needed Qualified in Electrical installations or Electrical Engineering (e.g. NVQ Level 3, City and Guilds or equivalent).
