Overview A client within the Public Sector based in Wiltshire is currently recruiting for a Building Surveyor to join their Corporate Buildings team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority within a capital and planned maintenance environment. Responsibilities Deliver capital and planned maintenance investment projects across corporate and listed buildings. Prepare feasibility studies, design specifications, drawings and tender documentation. Carry out condition, dilapidation, structural and HHSRS-related surveys. Manage budgets, ensuring compliance with CDM regulations and building legislation. Attend meetings with tenants, leaseholders, building users and stakeholders to provide advice. Candidate / Qualifications To be considered for this role you will require: HNC in Building Studies, AutoCAD qualification, and a current driving licence. The below skills would be beneficial for the role: Strong knowledge of construction health & safety, CDM 2015 and asbestos regulations. Experience managing planned maintenance contracts and contractor performance. Ability to diagnose building defects and produce detailed technical reports. Package The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £50 per hour Umbrella LTD Inside IR35 (approx. £40 per hour PAYE).
