Reporting to the Thermoforming Shift Leader, you’ll work hands‑on with advanced machinery, including Illig and Kiefel thermoforming machines, contributing to high‑quality output and operational efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesStarting up, running, and shutting down thermoforming machines.Performing full tool changes, insert changes, and paperwork changes within standard times.Operating and maintaining inline systems, including extruders, padding machines, punch units, and glue systems.Ensuring product quality meets customer specifications and promptly addressing any defects.Troubleshooting and resolving breakdowns or stoppages, escalating issues when required.Recording accurate production and quality data on our ERP system (M3).Cleaning and conducting routine maintenance on machinery.Supporting team members and shift leaders to meet production and efficiency targets.Support other departments and assist with packing duties in the Operator role when required, including ad‑hoc tasks to meet business needs.QualificationsExperience in a production or manufacturing environment.A team player with good communication skills and high attention to detail.Technical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently.Awareness of health and safety practices.Desirable: Experience operating or setting production machinery.Desirable: Knowledge of thermoforming processes or plastic manufacturing.Desirable: Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., M3).Additional InformationShift Pattern: Panama Schedule: 12‑hour shifts covering days, nights, and weekends, averaging 42 hours per week.Salary: Starting £33,750 (inclusive of shift allowance).Benefits: Biannual Production Bonus, Group Life Assurance, Bupa Cash Plan, Cycle to Work Scheme, Long Service Rewards (2 and 5 years), Safety Boot Contribution, Regular Company Events. #J-18808-Ljbffr
