Software Engineer III ACE Development Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer III that designs, builds and supports software solutions for some of the world’s largest retailers. Our developers are involved in the entire project lifecycle: they interact directly with our business owners to understand and document requirements; collaborate with the implementation and test teams on design and development; and oversee delivery and provide ongoing support for their work. Flex Contractor Role – this job opening is not eligible for immigration/work visa sponsorship Responsibilities Analyze requirements, design new functionalities and generate according to documentation; implement design by coding using object‑oriented principles. Debug and analyze internal defects related to payments. Certify peer code following coding guidelines. Collaborate with the implementation and test teams on design and development. Ensure proper process is followed and coding standards are adhered to. Required Skills / Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience. 6 years of experience developing in C environments. 6 years of Object‑Oriented development. 5 years experience with ACE (TGCS point of sale applications). 5 years with Payments and Pinpad development. Proficiency in Programming Design Patterns. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills. Experience working with agile methodologies. Knowledge of JIRA, GitLab, Jenkins and software management applications.
