The Opportunity We are looking for a talented Civil Engineer who wants to work on exciting water projects and make a big impact, to join our team in Brighton. We partner with top water clients across the UK, work on iconic projects, design with community in mind, and deliver sustainable development that mitigates climate impacts. Our Civil Engineers work across the project lifecycle in asset planning, concept design, outline design, and detailed design. We work on clean water treatment, wastewater treatment, networks, flooding, and urban drainage. Responsibilities Lead civil engineering design for projects. Lead civil engineering teams and collaborate with overall project design leads. Ensure successful project delivery and outcomes. Leverage Stantec’s world‑class expertise to deliver cutting‑edge design. Qualifications Experience as a Civil Engineer on water, environment, or related infrastructure projects. Ideal: Chartered or Incorporated member status with ICE or CIWEM. Passion for the water and environment sector and support for developing civil engineers. Experience in successful project delivery and collaborative teamwork. Client‑facing experience, leading client engagement and collaboration regularly.
