Position Trainee Phlebotomist – Field Based – Various locations in London. £20,837.25 per year plus commission, overtime, expenses and benefits. Responsibilities and Hours You will be required to work 3 × 10‑hour shifts per week, totalling 30 hours per week; these hours can fall at any times between 6 am and 10 pm, Monday to Sunday, and will be allocated to you by our resource planner 3 weeks in advance, rolling. You will be required to drive up to 2 hours to reach your venue of the day; there may also be instances where you will need to use public transport depending on the venue type. Throughout the day you will plan your route, travel to your allocated venue, unpack, set up your kit and greet customers. You may see anywhere from 15 to 22 customers a day, with appointments ranging from 10 to 45 minutes depending on the package. You will perform various health assessments including PAD, ECG, Phlebotomy (once qualified), Lung Function, Body Composition and short fitness tests, and offer advice on further testing when appropriate. You will maintain all relevant administration records. You will not be required to relay any results or further lifestyle advice to customers after assessments are complete. Requirements Full UK driver’s licence and access to your own car; you must be able to transport your kit and store kit items at home. Ability to work any day between Monday and Sunday and any time between 6 am and 10 pm on a rota basis. Must be able to use computer/laptop/phone/tablet to a satisfactory degree. Clear DBS – we will process this on your behalf. Ability to travel up to 2 hours away from your home location and occasional overnight stays when required. Be living within the correct distance of the regional location of the role. Ability to attend our Milton Keynes head office for the first 2 weeks of training (Monday‑Friday for both weeks). Willingness to learn and take on new skills. Enhanced criminal records check covered by us; all Bluecrest Wellness roles require a satisfactory criminal record check.
