Reception Shift Leader – Ramada Hotel & Suites by Wyndham Coventry The 166‑bedroom Ramada Hotel & Suites by Wyndham Coventry is located just off Exit 7 of the Coventry Ring Road. All rooms and suites boast stunning views overlooking the historic City Centre and County of Warwickshire. The hotel features a dedicated training and meetings floor, an executive lounge, and the award‑winning Queen’s Road Restaurant, offering a mix of traditional favourites and British fusion food from breakfast to bedtime. Responsibilities Supervise guest experiences during arrival, stay and departure, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures. Collaborate with the Front of House Manager to train and motivate receptionists in delivering excellent service. Complete personal learning and development initiatives to enhance expertise, skills and knowledge. Develop a thorough knowledge of all front‑office systems. Liaise with other hotel departments to meet or exceed guest expectations. Promote knowledge, expertise and personality to create amazing experiences and a great reception and welcome for all guests. Undertake Duty Manager shifts when required. Working Hours 5 days out of 7, covering operational hours from 7 am to 11 pm on a flexible rota. Shifts include early, mid and late slots. The role is a 40‑hour week; occasional night work may be required to cover the night team. Demonstrable excellent communication skills. Previous experience as a reception supervisor or receptionist in a busy hotel. Knowledge of Opera Cloud Property Management system (preferred).
