OverviewPosition: CNC TurnerLocation: WednesburyPosition: Full time Permanent NightshiftWorking hours: 46 per week Monday to Thursday 6:00 am to 06:00 pmSalary: competitiveThis role provides the business with the running of one or more CNC turning machines in their Cell. The CNC Turner Setter Operator will be responsible for crafting and maintaining precision parts and components, which are crucial in industries such as aerospace and defence.ResponsibilitiesSetting and operating (including reading and editing programs as required) one or more CNC turning machines with Fanuc controlsProve out first off and production, in line with customer requirement and specificationWorking to tight tolerancesResponsible for stamping own workWorking to technical drawingsActively work with the Production Team Leader and Production Manager to establish key delivery dates/requirementsQualifications & Requirements - CNC Turner Setter OperatorEngineering qualification preferably craft apprenticeship or equivalent is desirableCNC setting and operating of turning machines (Fanuc operating system)Good written and verbal communication skillsAbility to read and understand engineering drawingsKnowledge of machining exotic metals such as Duplex or Super Duplex (nice to have)What we can offer - CNC Turner Programmer Setter OperatorAnnual Salary ReviewsCompetitive annual salary and shift allowanceHolidays equivalent to 26 days plus Bank HolidaysCompany Pension SchemeFree onsite parkingDeath in Service #J-18808-Ljbffr
