The Development Investment team are responsible for assessing new development opportunities, monitoring existing projects, reporting on project status, drafting Board/Committee papers and providing information to enable the claiming of External funding.The ideal candidate will have prior experience in property development finance including investment appraisal and cashflow modelling. You will need to be an excellent communicator and confident in presenting financial information and influencing decisions.The role of Senior Finance Business Partner will include:Assessing the financial and commercial risks of new investment proposals, applying sensitivity and scenario analysis, and identifying mitigating actions for riskSupporting the wider Development function in drafting investment papersMonitoring and reporting on the status and progress of development projectsProviding information to enable claiming of external fundingDeveloping and maintaining effective relationships with all key stakeholders, ensuring issues and shortfalls are addressed and remedied in order to ensure the delivery of high standards of stakeholder careManaging the preparation of business information and the provision of advice for key customers and stakeholders to enable effective monitoring and to support decision making, business planning and effective financial management of development programmesSkills and experiences:Qualified Accountant with an understanding of the UK residential property marketExperience of grant funded affordable housing developmentBusiness partnering experiencePrevious experience in property development finance and/or experience of investment appraisal financial modellingProven experience of successful delivery of projectsWhy work for us?We provide homes and care for more than 250,000 people in England and Scotland.
