Overview Senior Care Assistant at Darcy House Care Home, Matlock, Derbyshire. Full-time nights, 36-48 hrs/wk, £13/hr. What We Offer £13 per hour Pension Onsite parking Paid DBS/PVG Uniform provided 5.6 weeks annual leave (full-time contract) Responsibilities Lead and coordinate care team, ensuring smooth operation. Support residents with dressing, bathing, toileting, and mobility. Manage medication ordering, administration, and documentation. Communicate with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and team members. Collaborate with staff, fostering supportive environment. Welcome visitors and show home facilities. Respond promptly to emergency call bells. Update care plans, risk assessments, and case notes. Participate in staff meetings, training, and e-learning. Adhere to health and safety policies including COSHH. Qualifications SVQ/NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care. Medication training: Practical Medication Administration with competencies. Leadership skills: motivate, delegate, develop team. Compassionate nature: caring, kind, person-centred care.
