This is your opportunity to be part of a project that will supply reliable, clean energy for generations to come.As HSW Assurance Advisor, you will support the HSW Systems Lead in ensuring the CWA Safety Management System (SMS) remains fit for purpose. You will help deliver operational excellence in health, safety, and wellbeing across all facets of the Sizewell C build, making a tangible impact at every stage.In this role, you will:Support the HSW SMS Systems Lead to develop and drive the assurance of the CWA Safety Management SystemDevelop the CWA Assurance Strategy and annual Assurance PlanPlan and conduct audits in line with the annual Assurance PlanPresent and share learnings from audits with operational and functional teams across the AllianceSupport both internal and external stakeholder audits for the CWADrive the implementation and compliance of the CWA Safety Management System through engagement, training and assuranceBuild strong relationships with project teams and stakeholders, contributing to a positive, collaborative HSW cultureSupport the delivery of the Nuclear Safety message during all audits and engagementsWhat you’ll bring:Ability to plan and manage your workload effectivelyStrong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage at all levelsExperience influencing and promoting a positive health, safety and wellbeing cultureSound knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislationConfidence in preparing HSW SMS reports using data and informationCSCS Managers and Professionals competenceNEBOSH General or Construction Certificate, and experience with health and safety management systemsWe also value:Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPointStrong analytical skillsNEBOSH Diploma or NVQ Level 6 in Occupational Health and SafetyGrad IOSH membershipPrevious experience in a Health and Safety role within construction or a transferable environmentBased on the Sizewell C site, you’ll be instrumental in upholding the highest standards of safety and wellbeing as part of a project with national significance.
