Trevone House in Gloucestershire County Council’s flagship, semi‑independent accommodation for young people aged 16 to 25 provides care leavers, the best pathway to a brighter future, and specialist support for those needing help at a time of crisis. The house offers 19 flats for young people leaving care, a well‑being suite with two specialist flats for those with mental health needs, and a PACE/Emergency bed for crisis situations.As a Team Leader you will ensure delivery of the bespoke services to support young people residing in Trevone House and lead one of four teams on a rolling 12‑hour shift rota – including days, nights and weekends.Previous experience within this field or a related role is essential. We welcome applicants with transferable skills and the right characteristics, aptitude, and life skills to work with our young people. A full UK driving licence is preferred to support young people with activities.What we are looking for in youPassionate and enthusiastic approach to delivering Children’s Services and helping young peopleClear understanding of the impact of childhood trauma on young people’s holistic developmentStrong leadership qualities and experience of managing and supervising staffAbility to be flexible and think “outside the box”High commitment to own professional development as well as supporting others (staff and young people) to achieve their potentialSafeguarding management experience, particularly in relation to young people and vulnerable adultsSkills and Core CompetenciesTechnical competency (qualifications and training):Level 4 E (or committed to achieving within 12 months of appointment)Level 5 Leadership and Management D (or committed to achieving within 12 months of appointment)The JourneyYou will be supported by Homes2Inspire to obtain the training and qualifications needed for your role, including full induction and initial training before commencing work on shift within Trevone House.
