About the role We are part of DWP Digital – the UK’s largest government department, helping people into work and making payments worth over £195 bn a year. We’re looking for experienced infrastructure engineers or cyber‑security professionals to help implement security controls, automate detection and response, and protect our infrastructure. What we’ll do You will work on the design and day‑to‑day operation of enterprise‑grade security platforms, ensuring they are stable, resilient and aligned with industry standards such as NIST and CIS controls. Your responsibilities include managing cloud security, web‑application firewalls, threat intelligence, automation and vulnerability management; adding new features and creating alerts to keep us protected.
