This Role As a Legal Engineer – Agent Deployment, you will operate at the intersection of law, technology, and client success. Your primary responsibility is to serve as a legal subject‑matter expert, deeply engaging with clients as they navigate complex compliance and regulatory challenges using the Norm Ai platform. You will guide client onboarding and lifecycle engagement, ensuring clients maximize the platform’s value while aligning with their business objectives. In this role you will collaborate closely with internal teams—including Client Engagement, Sales, Legal Engineering, and AI Engineering—to deliver seamless client experiences and proactive solutions. You will translate legal, compliance, and business issues into actionable insights, becoming a trusted partner to our clients by surfacing feedback and identifying opportunities to enhance the platform. You will also use our internal tools to further develop automated regulation analysis. Beyond client interactions, you will contribute to strategic initiatives, producing metrics‑driven materials that help communicate Norm Ai’s story and advance its mission. Responsibilities Drive client success by leading client onboardings and ensuring smooth adoption of the Norm Ai platform. Act as the regulatory and compliance expert during client engagements, providing personalized support. Offer sophisticated insights on regulatory matters, connecting these insights to the platform’s capabilities and each client’s unique needs. Leverage internal tools to tailor automated regulation analysis for clients. Capture, organize, and present client feedback that shapes product enhancements and improves outcomes. Build long‑term relationships with clients, proactively addressing challenges and identifying value opportunities. Develop tailored solutions, including preparing collateral, reviewing regulatory documents, and giving actionable advice specific to clients’ industries and goals. Identify and resolve potential issues, coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely success. Craft compelling presentations, demos, and legal collateral to communicate complex ideas in an accessible, professional manner. Skills & Experience – Core Law degree with strong legal acumen and 1–2 years of experience in legal or compliance roles. Significant experience working with legal professionals, compliance officers, or in highly regulated industries (e.g., financial services, insurance). Exceptional communication skills and proven ability to convey complex legal and regulatory concepts in a client‑friendly manner. Demonstrated ability to manage complex client relationships. Highly independent and comfortable operating as an individual contributor. Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and project‑management skills. Willingness to adapt, taking on both leadership and supportive roles as needed. Skills & Experience – Pluses Prior experience in compliance consulting or regulatory advisory roles. Background in AI‑powered technologies or legal‑technology platforms. Experience at a venture‑backed company. Familiarity with compliance and regulatory frameworks applicable to financial services or similar sectors. What Success Looks Like 30 Days Master the Norm Ai platform and client onboarding processes. Gain a strong understanding of the compliance and regulatory frameworks that Norm Ai supports. Confidently articulate Norm Ai’s value proposition and deliver client demos. 60 Days Independently manage client onboarding and provide regular updates. Establish meaningful relationships with clients, understanding their unique legal and compliance needs. Surface actionable feedback to the product team, enhancing platform functionality. 90 Days Lead the entire client engagement lifecycle, from onboarding through renewal. Be regarded as a trusted legal and compliance advisor by clients. Drive client renewals and upsells by consistently demonstrating Norm Ai’s value. Navigate complex client discussions with minimal preparation, effectively aligning their needs with Norm Ai’s offerings. Legal Engineer Deployments All Legal Engineers may spend significant time on‑site at client locations to support in‑depth AI deployments. Deployments are collaborative and high‑impact.
