Location: The job is primarily based at our Leith branch at 41 St Clair Street, Edinburgh, EH6 8LB. Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience. Pentland Component Parts Ltd is a specialist in vehicle parts distribution and has a vacancy for the position of Assistant Warehouse Manager. The Company is seeking a friendly, outgoing individual, ideally with prior managerial and warehousing experience, to join our team. As an Assistant Warehouse Manager, your principal duty will be to support, assist, and provide cover for the Warehouse Manager across all areas of the Company's warehousing department. Responsibilities Staff supervision Dealing with warranties and returns Ordering and receiving Maintaining pricing Administering order points Stock control Stock takes Facilities management Providing any other assistance to the Warehouse Manager needed to ensure the smooth running of the branches. Requirements Be a team player with the ability to work independently. Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Be able to lift heavy items without frequent assistance. Be dynamic, outgoing and energetic. Be organised with great attention to detail. Be willing to learn and develop.
