RTITB Forklift Instructor – Arnold Clark We’re looking to hire an experienced RTITB Forklift Counterbalance/Reach Instructor to deliver high‑quality training to both commercial and funded customers. Hours: Full time – Monday to Friday, 7:45 am to 4:15 pm with a 30‑minute lunch break. Location: GTG Edinburgh and on customer sites. About the role: In this role you will deliver RTITB forklift truck training courses at novice, experienced and refresher levels, travel to customer sites, conduct operator checks, collaborate with awarding bodies, audit training records, and maintain paperwork to RTITB standards. Day‑to‑day duties Deliver RTITB forklift training courses at novice, experienced and refresher levels. Travel to customer sites to deliver RTITB and in‑house forklift training. Conduct operator before‑use and after‑use checks. Work with awarding bodies, audits and updates. Complete course paperwork neatly and correctly, keeping it up‑to‑date to RTITB audit standards. Essential skills and experience Checkable counterbalance training experience. Qualified RTITB instructor. At least two years remaining on RTITB instructor certification. Familiarity with RTITB paperwork and digital uploads. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work to a training programme. Nice to have (not essential) NPORS is advantageous.
