What Our Trade Counter Assistants Do Support day‑to‑day branch operations with the Branch Manager and Supervisor. Drive trade counter sales to achieve targets and communicate product knowledge to customers. Provide exceptional customer service and support to new and existing customers. Pick, load and deliver products via Eurocell's 3.5‑tonne flatbed trucks and LWB vans. Plan routes, drive safely and keep company vehicles clean. Assist the Branch Manager with actions and activities on time, in full. Comply with health and safety, company policies and procedures. Maintain branch standards – warehouse and stock management, front‑of‑house cleanliness, point of sale. Support the delivery of sales targets and develop positive customer relationships. Provide support and assistance to branch colleagues when required. What We Need From Our Trade Counter Assistants Passion and energy to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve business targets. A hands‑on, customer‑focused approach and proactive engagement with potential customers. A commercial mindset to drive sales and maximise margins while ensuring customer satisfaction. Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and use own initiative. Confident IT user, experienced with MS Office and industry‑standard software such as SAP. A full and valid driving licence (FLT licence is an advantage). Previous branch stock‑take experience is an advantage. Comfortable working in a small team and, on occasions, alone. Experience in a similar role within a trade/builders merchant, retail, glazing or uPVC environment is an advantage. What We Offer Our Trade Counter Assistants Competitive basic salary.
