Support Worker - Glanmore (TF1) Company: Accomplish GroupLocation: Telford, Shropshire (TF1)Pay: £12.60 – £13.30 per hour*Hours: 35 hours a week, overtime availableShifts: 8:15 am to 9:00 pm, 12.5 hours per day (3 shifts per week), with alternating weekends. About Glanmore Glanmore has recently undergone a full refurbishment and offers a modern yet homely environment for seven people with mental health needs and learning disabilities. Our support combines self‑directed learning with enablement, social development and, most importantly, fun. At Glanmore we provide the right support to help individuals develop coping techniques that can make a noticeable difference in their everyday lives. Responsibilities Provide day‑to‑day support and routine for the people we support. Promote independence while assisting them to live a fulfilling life. Support and encourage development of personal skills through hobbies and interests. Maintain and support health‑care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administering medication. Teach life skills such as budgeting, paying bills and shopping. Assist with personal care as required. Assist with domestic tasks including cleaning and cooking. Provide guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support. Benefits Annual leave – 5.6 weeks inclusive of eight public holidays.
