You will be based within the Authorisations & Security team, one of four teams in the Competency Centre, within the Business Services Centre, who manage the Councils SAP ERP (known as BMS) and related systems. The Authorisations and Security team provides delivery of first and second line support between 08:00 and 17:00 (Mon-Thurs, 16:30 Fri) for all users through the Service Desk, design, implement and maintain appropriate Authorisations and Security for the BMS user base and manage and monitor the use of licences against the agreed contract. Experience of working in a Service Desk/Customer Support environment would be advantageous and you must possess excellent customer service skills, along with the ability to work on your own initiative and work effectively as a team player, with good organisational skills. You will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and other IT systems. You must be able to work in a logical and methodical manner, using your own initiative and be able to follow agreed procedures and guidelines, consistently achieving a high level of accuracy. An understanding of Data Protection and the boundaries of confidentiality is essential. Key Responsibilities Provide first line support for all SAP/BMS users Administer and resolve queries from users where possible or re-route calls to appropriate teams as required Administer user access for SAP/BMS and other related systems that are supported by the Authorisations & Security team Monitor and review system related incidents, problems and change requests This role consists of hybrid working, however there will be an expectation that the post holder attends our current office base at County Hall or Trent Bridge House, West Bridgford as and when required.
