Join our team as a Commercial Manager and you can build something to be proud of.Role Purpose:Responsible for the financial management of MEH scope of NZT from inception,tendering to, negotiating and agreeing contracts, and commercially delivering theprojects. As an integral part of the project delivery team they will hold keyresponsibilities associated with leading the commercial and financial success of theproject. Role is broad and includes anything from risk management to procurement,contract management, financial reporting and managing the supply chain.Track record of managing and developing a commercialteam and be themselves a Chartered Member of the RICS, ICES or CIOB, and amentor/role model to other commercial staff on their journey to becomingprofessionally qualified. They will maintain their Continuing ProfessionalDevelopment (CPD).What you'll be doingAs a Commercial Manager , you will be accountable for the following activities;Understands how economic factors that affects the construction industry.Awareness of disputes resolution including options, structure, techniques,experts etcApplication of legislation and ability to liaise with legal expertsPreparation of Estimates & Tender submissions including the interpretation ofspecifications & preamblesRepresentation of the financial and contractual interests to the client in progressmeetings or the like.
