Apprentice FCO – Emergency Gas Responder (Horsham) Location: Horsham, United KingdomSalary: £30.3k per annum + completion bonus Overview We are launching our Emergency Gas Responder Apprenticeship programme across the South of England. This 3‑year apprenticeship provides the skills, knowledge and behaviours to work safely as part of our highly skilled operations teams, supporting the delivery of gas to 5.9 million homes and businesses. Benefits Competitive pension scheme Enhanced maternity/paternity pay Life assurance HolidayPlus Cycle2Work Scheme & more Responsibilities Support qualified gas engineers in providing a range of services to customers Install gas meters and regulators Respond to reported gas emergencies Install and maintain gas networks Promote health and safety in gas service and repair activities Work towards Gas Safe Registration in categories: CESP 1, MET 1/2, MET 4, TPCP1A, REGT1, REGT2 Training & Support You will attend college on a block‑release basis throughout the three years, building skills and knowledge alongside real‑world experience. Where training is required away from home, we will arrange travel and accommodation. Qualifications & Requirements At least 3 GCSE grades A–C (or equivalent) including Maths & English Interest in a career within the gas network industry Commitment to 3 years of training and education A can‑do attitude and passion for building a successful career Preferably able to drive; if not, you must pass a driving test within 6–12 months of joining Inclusivity If you require accommodations or support during the application process, reach out to us.
