Job overview This is an 8 PA consultant post in the Buckinghamshire CAMHS ADHD Clinic and Neurodevelopmental Assessment Team. It is a fixed term contract until December 2026 to cover the current consultant’s maternity leave. The post is based in Saffron House in High Wycombe with some work at other Trust sites including the Sue Nicholls Centre in Aylesbury. Main duties of the job The post-holder will be responsible for a caseload of young people requiring management of their ADHD. These will typically be cases where there is a higher level of complexity involved in the management of the young person. They will also provide 2 PAs of clinical input into the neurodevelopmental assessment pathway, completing 1 to 2 assessments a week and contributing to a weekly post-assessment MDT meeting. In addition, they will provide clinical leadership in continuing to develop the ADHD Clinic model in partnership with relevant operational managers. They will contribute to group supervision of the non-medical prescribers. They will supervise an experienced staff grade doctor.
