Established in 1985, Yeomans is a family owned and operated company currently employing over 850 employees across our Head Office located in Worthing, West Sussex and our extensive network of dealerships. We currently have 36 dealerships across the Southeast and Southwest of England representing a variety of global car and commercial vehicle manufacturers.We are currently seeking an experienced and commercially minded HR professional to join our Head Office team located in Worthing, West Sussex to lead our HR department.In this role you will be a trusted advisor to our Board and senior management team, ensuring that our management teams across our dealerships have the necessary support and resources available to make informed decisions relating to their teams.If you are looking for a role in a multi-site environment where you have the ability to implement change, improve our ways of working and lead a team we want to hear from you.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure the HR team are working efficiently, complying with company procedures and in accordance with relevant legislationReview, amend and create policies, procedures and training materials to ensure we remain compliant with relevant legislationEnsure managers have the support and resources available to be competent in managing people related matters across all areas of the employment lifecycleCoach management and provide guidance on people related matters to minimise any risk to the companyDevelop the HR strategy ensuring it is aligned with business objectivesOversee and/or deliver projects which support the HR strategyReview and implement employee engagement initiatives to maximise engagement across the groupLead and/or support the Finance Director with relevant employee benefit schemesWork collaboratively with Payroll to ensure changes to the payroll are communicated and processed correctlySupport the Finance Director with relevant AuditsSkills and ExperienceExperience or an interest in the automotive industry and a multi-site environment is desirable but not essentialIdeally CIPD Level 5 or Level 7 qualified or equivalent demonstrable experience gained within HRExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships across different mediumsExcellent attention to detailCommercially mindedThe ability to consider all scenarios and communicate in a concise and logical manner the appropriate steps to be taken, identifying any risks associated with your suggestionsAbility to maintain confidentiality and display professionalism at all timesProficient in the use of Microsoft, Google packages, ADP or other HRIS systemsRemuneration and Benefits25 days annual leave in addition to 8 bank/public holidaysThe use of a Company car for business and private useCompetitive remuneration packageAccess to an Employee Assistance Programme via BEN the automotive charityPlease note this role is located at our Head Office, Yeomans House in Worthing and our working hours are Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5.30pm.
