As we expand our Urban Solutions Division, we are launching new depots strategically placed around the UK, to support our growing operations. About the Role of Hire Controller We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Hire Controller to oversee all administrative functions at the depot, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This role is crucial in managing staff records, vehicle logistics, hire contracts, and customer interactions, playing a key part in supporting the depot’s success. Key Responsibilities Maintain staff records, including training, certifications, and scheduling Manage vehicle allocations, servicing schedules, and hire contracts Act as the first point of contact for customers, handling enquiries professionally and efficiently Support the Depot Manager in financial tracking, invoicing, and reporting Assist with contract management, ensuring all agreements are up to date and compliant Implement and maintain IT systems and digital records for effective depot management Support stock control, procurement, and general office organisation Ensure all Health & Safety and compliance documentation is maintained accurately Oversee all administrative tasks within the depot to ensure smooth operations Desirable Attributes Experience in a fast paced administrative role Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and to deadlines Experience managing vehicle records, contracts, or fleet administration Knowledge of local Suffolk operations and logistics So, if you want to join a winning team and be part of an innovative organisation which is focused on company growth and employee progression, click on the apply button today.
