In this role you will grow your medical knowledge of a wide variety of medical, cognitive and mental health conditions.The role is full time Monday to Friday 9 – 5 and offers a salary of £40,000 per annum£1000 salary uplift after your first 6 months and a further £1000 salary uplift after 12 monthsWork‑life balance: 9am – 5pm contracts with no nights, weekends of shifts required.Up to 10% quality and performance bonus once you’re an Approved Functional AssessorThe role is a Hybrid position with a minimum of 2 days per week working at one of our consultation centres25 days annual leave, plus bank holiday and the option to purchase up to five additional daysBrilliant internal progression opportunitiesUp to 6% contributory pension schemeDiscounts across around 1,000 retailers, from food and clothing to days out, entertainment and travelYou will undertake a combination of file‑work, face‑to‑face and telephone/video assessments with customers in relation to PIP OR ESA benefits and provide comprehensive reports to enable decision makers at DWP to make informed decisions regarding benefit claims. Such assessments focus on how a disability affects a customer’s day to day life and performing work related activities.Comprehensive training will provide you will the skills to support customers and transfer your current skills and knowledge to the level required for the role.
