Communitas Clinics Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dermatology Clinician to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing comprehensive dermatological services to NHS patients referred by local GPs. The successful candidate will be accountable for delivering professional and ethical care within a legal framework, adhering to GMC requirements and our local policies.Main duties of the jobMain Responsibilities:Clinical Triage and Assessment:Conduct clinical triage for all dermatology referrals and provide thorough assessments, diagnoses, treatments, and advice for both acute and chronic dermatological conditions.Minor Surgical Procedures:Perform minor surgeries, including excision of low-risk basal cell carcinoma, following national guidelines.Patient Management:Offer prescription management in line with CCG formulary and support patient self-management plans.Professional Development:Engage in continuous personal and professional development, maintaining clinical competence through relevant literature and training in accordance with GMC and Royal College of General Practitioners standards.Communication:Ensure clear and sensitive communication with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals, maintaining confidentiality and dignity.Quality Service Delivery:Adhere to NSF, NICE guidelines, and evidence-based care.
