You will be joining a busy, proactive team of brokers who specialise in Commercial Insurance. This is the perfect role for someone with previous experience in either a commercial/corporate broker or insurance company looking to develop their commercial insurance skills and their career. Working alongside like minded and experienced insurance brokers this is a long term opportunity with a ‘forever company’ that will provide career progression and security. Day to day Working alongside Account Executives to retain and generate new business, in line with or in excess of company targets Obtaining new business/renewal terms, negotiating and closing with Insurers; creating documents for new customers, along with any mid-term adjustments and renewals information Ensure all customer details are recorded accurately and entered onto system in a timely fashion Checking policy documents, covers, endorsements etc. to ensure that they are correct and in line with the customer’s needs Attending customer meetings and preparing meeting minutes Working on all aspects of account management and service delivery to customers, ensuring customers’ needs are identified and met in line with agreed service standards Manage all day-to-day queries, renewals, amendments and mid-term adjustments Build and maintain relationships with customers, prospects, teams and insurers to provide best in class service and drive growth Sharing ideas to develop our proposition at a senior level and impact change across junior members of the team Mentoring less experienced colleagues to develop and rive high standards Opportunities to provide training sessions to junior team members in conjunction with training team Maintaining day to day Compliance procedures for FCA Regulation; Maintain a detailed understanding of changing market condition and complies with all compliance, professional and transparency standards to better serve clients Incoming and outbound call handing - new and existing customers This role offers hybrid working once initial training plan has been completed with an expectation to be in the office only three times a week thereafter What’s on offer Negotiable basic salary Wide range of additional addon benefits and discounts Your Experience Commercial Insurance Broking experience Negotiation skills; Effective communication - both written and verbal Ability to work alone and as part of a team High attention to detail Form and develop strong insurer and client relationships High level customer service skills Time management and organisational skills Analytical and problem solving skills Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Customer Service, Administrative, and Business Development Industries Insurance and Insurance Agencies and Brokerages Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Brown & Brown UK by 2x #J-18808-Ljbffr
