They are currently recruiting for an experienced Lead Design Engineer to join their business in Oldham.Key requirementsMust have over 5years working experience as aLead Design EngineerIdeally degree educatedinin Mechanical Engineering or related fieldWe will consider apprentice trained individualsExperience of 3D CAD is requiredMust have extensive experience and proven background in engineering manufacturingMust have some experience of leadership and mentoring small to medium teamsStrong grasp of mechanical principles and system design methodologiesExperience with MathCad for pressure and strength calculations would be beneficialFamiliarity with computational fluid dynamics (CFD) is a plusKnowledge of GD&T practices and manufacturing engineering is highly desirableExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication skills and ability to convey technical concepts clearly
