Reports to: Director of Strategic SolutionsOTE: Up to £58,000Base Salary of up to £28k (depending on experience)Location: Belfast office/home working (hybrid)Role IntroductionWe’re now hiring a dedicated Sales Development Representative to take ownership of the earliest stage of our commercial funnel; converting interest into conversations. This role is critical to ensuring marketing-generated leads (MQLs) are activated quickly and tailored outreach is delivered across our priority accounts.About UsSonrai is a Belfast-based AI data discovery company with a mission to power the most important precision medicine breakthroughs through connected data and collaborative science. We enable Biotech and Pharma companies to reduce the cost, time, and risk from early discovery to clinical trials, accelerate drug, biomarker, and diagnostics, maintain a secure and compliant Trusted Research Environment, and effectively and safely manage data.Our bioinformatic cloud product is sold on a licence fee basis, along with accompanying data science and software engineering professional services. Our clients and partners already include some of the biggest names around, and we’re now looking to appoint a Solutions Executive within the Sales team to generate new leads and opportunities. It’s a great time to be joining Sonrai; over the past two years, we have:Developed a sophisticated Inbound Marketing Automation pipeline to drive our commercial growthSuccessfully grown our customer base across a range of biotech and pharma organisations globallyGrown our team to 35+ and won multiple awardsOpportunity & ResponsibilitiesThe Sales Development Representative will work closely with the Marketing and the Solutions Executive teams to generate new sales leads, which is a critical part of the early deal pipeline.ResponsibilitiesIdentify and enrich key targets using LinkedIn, email tools, and CRM filtersUse Sonrai campaign context (webinar topic, content download, ad clicked) to personalise outreachOwn the activation of warm MQLs (webinars, ads, reports, etc.) within 24–48 hoursGenerate an agreed number of meetings for the Solutions ExecutivesMeet KPIs on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basisBuild stakeholder maps of target companiesInternal stakeholder communication & CRM managementEngage credibly with scientific and technical stakeholders to open conversationsMaintain a high degree of knowledge of Sonrai offerings, and external environmentCollaborate with Marketing to improve campaign follow-up and lead handoff workflowsReport on weekly, monthly and quarterly resultsAs a growing Tech Startup, Sonrai offers a flexible working environment with employees free to work remotely part time, and to use our Belfast office. UK and international travel may be required as necessary to attend sales meetings and conferences.Scientific degree not required, just strong commercial instincts and curiosityInterested in a more commercial-oriented career pathAble to manage structured outreach cadences (multi-step, multi-channel)Comfortable with tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Reply.io, or similar (training provided)Excellent communicator and comfortable in client-facing rolesA tenacious and hands-on approach to workTeam player and able to work independentlyEntitled to work in the UKBiomedical science (or equivalent) graduateExperience in a customer-facing capacity (e.g., lead generation, sales, support, consulting) – ability to customise offerings based on customer needsExperience in lead generation, SDR, inside sales, or scientific recruitmentBasic understanding of biotech/pharma or precision medicine landscape (especially in multi-omics, diagnostics, or imaging)Used tools like HubSpot CRM, Sales Navigator, Hunter.io, etc.Thrived in a fast-paced startup or scale-up cultureCompetitive salary and bonus structureEmployer pension contributionOpportunity to work from home with hybrid workingFlexible working hours including Flexi Friday25 days annual leave plus 10 public/bank holidaysTraining budget / strong focus on staff development #J-18808-Ljbffr
