Drainage Engineer – Metro Rod Peterborough & Lincolnshire Salary: £28,000–£35,000 DOE + overtime, on-call & benefits. Metro Rod works with Tesco, Marks & Spencer, Mitie, Clarion, Axa, Wetherspoons and many more across FM, Social Housing, Property Management, Retail, Industrial and Leisure sectors. Founded in 1983, we are a leading provider of drain clearance and maintenance services. What does it entail? Carry out services related to cleaning, clearance, repair and maintenance of drains. Operate high‑pressure water jetting equipment following safety standards. Conduct surveys. Provide exceptional customer service and technical expertise. Accurately record work details via internal systems and apps. Communicate effectively with commercial and domestic clients and support staff. Participate in an on‑call rota (approximately one week in four, variable). What are we looking for? Experience with high‑pressure water jetting and CCTV surveying (commercial drainage experience advantageous but not essential). Confined space entry experience. CSCS tickets. Excellent problem‑solving and technical knowledge. Positive, flexible, can‑do attitude. Willingness to work unsociable hours. Full UK driving licence. Residence in the Lincoln area.
