You’ll work across several practices, collaborating with multiple teams while managing a diverse and stimulating caseload. In this role, you’ll support and guide colleagues, helping to maintain and enhance the high clinical standards across Medivet, while continuing to develop your own skills and expertise. With a structured rota planned in advance, you’ll enjoy both consistency and variety, knowing your days are organised yet still offering the opportunity to work on different cases across the clinics you support. The role offers a competitive salary that is negotiable based on experience, along with a £5,000 car allowance per annum for travel between clinics. You’ll also have the opportunity to lead and support teams, influence clinical standards across multiple locations, and gain exposure to a wide range of cases and environments, keeping your work both stimulating and rewarding. Engage, mentor and develop your team, enhancing their skills and utilising these in the most effective way. Complete clinical handover and arrange transfer of any patient needing out of hours or enhanced care. Pro-actively support and share clinical best practice within and across practices and the wider Medivet community. Your Skills and Experience RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon. Experienced in delivering exceptional care to both patients and clients. Experienced in working effectively as part of a team. Able to demonstrate clinical leadership skills. Experience of implementing a progressive clinical culture. Experience of supporting nurse consults and schedule 3 procedures, with an understanding of how this contributes to clinic performance and efficiency. Experienced in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.
