Industrial Maintenance Technician Location: Lancaster, SC Salary: $30.00 USD Hourly – $32.00 USD Hourly Overview We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial mechanics, electrical systems, and preventive maintenance. This role is critical in ensuring the continuous operation of manufacturing equipment and maintaining safety standards across our facility. Candidates with experience in industrial electrician work, hydraulics, HVAC/R, and field service are highly encouraged to apply. Fluency in English and excellent analysis skills are essential for success in this position. Duties Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including troubleshooting and repairs. Utilize schematics, technical manuals, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to diagnose issues and plan maintenance activities. Repair and maintain electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage components, using tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other precision measuring instruments. Work with hydraulics, welding, HVAC/R systems, and mechanical components to ensure optimal operation. Operate scissor lifts and other industrial equipment safely to access high or hard-to-reach areas. Conduct analysis of equipment performance to identify potential failures before they occur. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and parts inventory. Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve overall equipment effectiveness. Follow safety protocols related to electrical systems, high voltage work, and field service operations. Assist in training new team members on maintenance procedures and safety standards. Requirements Proven experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, schematics, and troubleshooting techniques. Hands‑on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial electrician work, hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, and welding. Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and use precision measuring instruments effectively. Experience with CMMS software for maintenance tracking. Familiarity with electrical systems including high voltage and low voltage circuits; ability to use ammeters and ohmmeters for diagnostics. Valid driver's license; ability to operate scissor lifts or similar equipment safely. Excellent analysis skills with the ability to diagnose complex mechanical or electrical issues quickly. Strong customer service orientation when interacting with internal teams or external vendors during field service tasks. Military background or industrial mechanic experience is a plus but not required. Proficiency in English is essential for communication within the team. #J-18808-Ljbffr
