OverviewWe are seeking an experienced data center professional to develop and deliver advanced training programs in the data center and digital infrastructure domain. As a Data Center Learning Architect, you will support the creation as a subject matter expert and deliver strategic learning experiences to address knowledge and skill gaps in data center technologies. In this senior role, you will leverage your extensive data center expertise, analyzing technical knowledge gaps and crafting impactful training solutions to close them. You will collaborate closely with product teams, engineers, and subject matter experts to ensure training programs align with real-world needs and our product strategy.As the lead instructor, you will deliver these programs to experienced engineering audiences, confidently fielding advanced questions and discussions. The ideal candidate is passionate about making complex technical learning simple and engaging, combining hands-on data center experience with exceptional subject matter knowledge. This role is based in the EMEA region to accommodate global training across regions (North America, Asia Pacific, etc); fluency in English is required, and proficiency in Spanish and Portuguese is a plus but not critical.ResponsibilitiesIdentify Training Needs: Analyze organizational and customer needs to pinpoint knowledge gaps in data center and digital infrastructure expertise, and develop impactful training solutions to address those gapsSubject Matter Expertise: Engage with cross-functional stakeholders (product owners, learning design, engineering teams, SMEs) to establish training requirements and define clear learning objectives for new, existing courses and learning pathways. Work with Learning Design teams to develop comprehensive course curricula and materials covering data center architecture, operations, and best practices, ensuring effective and relevant learning experiencesInstruction & Delivery: Deliver high-quality, instructor-led training sessions (virtual and in-person) and hands-on workshops. Incorporate labs and real-world scenarios to reinforce learning; confidently address complex technical questions from experienced engineers during training sessions, providing expert explanations and solutionsSubject Matter Collaboration: Work with SMEs to review training content and deliverables, ensuring technical accuracy and incorporating industry best practicesRepresent DCD>Academy at industry events where you will demo solutions and/or moderate panels of industry experts on data center and digital infrastructure topicsContinuous Improvement: Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs in partnership with customer success, product and learning design departments through data-driven insights to refine curriculum and delivery methodsQualificationsData Center Experience: Extensive experience in data center design and/or operations (e.g., implementing redundant power, cooling and network systems to prevent outages)Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of data center infrastructure components and best practices, including power, cooling, backup power/generators, networking, and server hardware. Experience with HPC, mission-critical environments and uptime requirements is preferredCommunication & Presentation: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and engage audiences; adaptable teaching style for varied audiencesProblem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to troubleshoot complex technical issues and address challenging questions in live or training Q&A settingsCollaboration & Leadership: Ability to work cross-functionally, manage projects/programs, and drive initiatives to completion; comfortable coordinating with product managers, engineers, and other teams to achieve training goalsEducation & Certification: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (required). Industry recognition is a plusLocation & Language: EMEA-based candidates strongly preferred; fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.
