You will support site services operations, contribute to continuous improvement, and ensure plant equipment and electrical systems are operating safely and efficiently.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintenance & RepairsCarry out electrical and some mechanical maintenance, fault finding, and repairsDiagnose faults quickly to reduce unplanned downtimeMaintain, repair, and install electrical systems, plant, and equipmentWork on 1ph and 3ph electrical installationsTest, repair, and replace electrical installations, PLCs, servo drives, and other control systemsUpdate and produce electrical circuit diagramsWork on presses, CNC machinery, laser equipment (desirable)Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)Perform preventative maintenance and help establish robust PPM proceduresInspect equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure reliabilityAssist with planning and preparing maintenance action plansProjects & ImprovementsContribute to continuous improvement and LEAN initiativesSupport installations, upgrades, site improvements, and improvement projectsSuggest technical improvements to enhance equipment performanceCollaboration & SupportLiaise with other departments to minimise interruptions and maintain production flowSupport apprentices and junior team membersCarry out quality & safety inspections on internal and contractor workSafety & ComplianceConduct pre- and post-task risk assessmentsEnsure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with company policiesMaintain excellent housekeeping standardsAdhere to PUWER regulations and all relevant H&S requirementsSkills & ExperienceEssentialTime‑served in an electrical discipline (Apprentice trained)Strong electrical fault‑finding experience in a production/manufacturing environmentExcellent knowledge of 3ph & 1ph electrical installationsExperience with panel wiring and PUWERCity & Guilds – 18th EditionStrong communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood understanding of health & safety policies and proceduresAbility to plan and organise workload effectivelyCommitment to LEAN principles and continuous improvementHigh attention to detail and excellent work ethicClean UK driving licenceDesirableMechanical maintenance experienceExperience working with presses, CNC machines, laser machinery, and automatic feedersHealth & Safety qualificationsTest & Inspection certification (C&G 2391)Experience working with safety circuitsWhy Apply?Join a stable and expanding engineering businessWork on varied, technically interesting equipment every dayBe part of a professional, supportive, and experienced maintenance teamBenefit from strong training, development, and upskilling opportunitiesMake a visible, meaningful impact on operations with every shift #J-18808-Ljbffr
