WHAT YOU’LL DO As an Assembly Operative, you will support the full lifecycle of data centre hardware operations, including deployment, maintenance, upgrades, and decommissioning. You will work hands‑on with compute, storage, and networking equipment, ensuring operational excellence in a fast‑paced, mission‑critical environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Deploy new hardware (servers, storage, networking) to expand data centre capacity Perform physical repairs and upgrades on existing infrastructure Identify and resolve technical issues related to hardware, connectivity, and configuration Relocate or reconfigure hardware to support operational changes Decommission and recycle outdated equipment in line with company policies Execute network maintenance and deployment tasks, including cabling and port testing Use hardware/software tools and automation workflows to support daily operations Maintain accurate records of activities, including asset tracking and configuration updates Participate in 5S and continuous improvement initiatives Collaborate with technical teams to coordinate hardware replacements Document repair and maintenance activities, including system configuration updates Participate in emergency response efforts Adhere to all safety, security, and operational procedures Uphold EOS values of integrity, innovation, and teamwork ESSENTIAL CRITERIA Technical diploma or certification in electronics, IT hardware, or related field Experience in data centre or IT hardware environments preferred Basic to intermediate computer skills and familiarity with network components Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions in English Effective communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively Willingness to travel locally between data centre sites PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to lift and manoeuvre equipment up to ~50 pounds, occasionally up to 100 pounds Dexterity to manage small and complex components Frequent standing, bending, and movement in confined spaces Ability to work in environments with elevated temperatures and noise levels BELONGING AT EOS At EOS, we believe diversity drives innovation.
