We’re looking for staff who are passionate about making a real difference in someone's life and are experienced and confident supporting people with Autism and Behaviours of Concern. We have multiple clients located across the eastern suburbs of Melbourne with expanding rosters, and we are seeking dedicated individuals to join our close-knit support teams. Successful applicants will be able to commit to regular ongoing shifts and be reliable and punctual. Roster and Availability Shifts include weekday, evening and weekend availabilityAbility and reliability to commit to ongoing shiftsFlexibility to fill in shifts for staff leave and pick up extra shifts To do a great job, you’ll need: Minimum three years’ experience supporting people with behaviours of concern (BOC)Experience working with people with AutismExperience supporting people with high physical support needsUnderstanding of trauma-informed careAbility to problem-solve and think outside the boxObservant to the finer details; detail-orientedWell-organised and thoughtful, including supporting clients to plan for significant eventsComfortable forming a genuine bond with the clientExuberant and engaging, with a mature outlook on lifeEnjoy outdoor activities and can be a positive role modelIndependent and competent with life skills such as laundry and household choresAbility to follow documentation protocolsFull driver’s licence and willingness to drive clients in your own car and in clients' cars/vans **Please note - when you apply you will receive an email asking you for some further details - please look out for it** As part of our recruitment process, certain checks will be undertaken with your permission, including an NDIS Worker Screening Check that you must have before you can start work.
