Job Summary As a Deputy Home Manager, you’ll be ensuring that the clinical care we offer goes beyond professional standards and statutory, regulatory and legal requirements. You’ll provide specialist nursing support and advice, take responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager’s absence, supervise and coach colleagues to deliver an empathetic service. Act as a mentor, manage time effectively, keep meaningful records, and communicate with residents and colleagues in a considerate and kind manner. Qualifications & Experience Essential Valid NMC PIN Knowledge of National Standards and the NMC Code of Practice Background in person‑centred care planning in a care home Desirable Positive energy, natural interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others Experience in coaching and mentoring staff Experience At least 3 years’ experience in a senior care home role Safeguarding All staff are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role, undertake additional training in associated areas, and know how to recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect.
