Head of Estates and Facilities, NHS Trust – Essex Band 8c | Pro Rata - £76,000 – £88,000 per annum Are you an experienced estates and facilities leader with an engineering background looking for your next challenge within the NHS? We are seeking a dynamic Head of Estates and Facilities to join our team and drive excellence across our services. About the Role As Head of Estates and Facilities, you will be responsible for managing both hard and soft FM services, ensuring compliance and delivering high-quality, safe environments for patients and staff. This is a pivotal leadership role, requiring strategic oversight and operational expertise. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage estates and facilities teams across the Trust. Oversee hard and soft FM services, ensuring efficiency and compliance. Drive restructuring initiatives to optimize team performance. Ensure adherence to all statutory and NHS compliance standards. Develop and implement strategies for sustainable and cost-effective facilities management. About You Significant experience within the NHS in estates and facilities management. Strong background in hard FM with proven leadership in complex environments. Demonstrated success in team restructuring and change management. In-depth knowledge of compliance requirements and best practices. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
