ACT, our parent company, is a global leader in sustainable products – giving us reach and credibility, with the autonomy and excitement of a startup.ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain backend services in Go that scale across Engage50 and Product50.Develop and operate cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring performance, security, and reliability.Use AI‑assisted tools to debug, test, and ship code faster with higher quality.Collaborate with frontend engineers to design clean APIs and data flows.Work closely with product and design to bring new ideas from concept to production.Work tightly with product, design, and frontend teams – a small, mission‑driven group who value curiosity, ownership, and learning.Requirements3–6 years of professional experience in Go or another typed backend language.Solid understanding of distributed systems and API design.Experience with AWS, containers, and CI/CD.Prior startup experience and comfort with ambiguity.Enthusiasm for using AI tools in engineering workflows.Passion for building software that advances sustainability and net‑zero goals.Exposure to frontend frameworks (React / TypeScript) is a plus.Interest in climate‑tech or sustainability is a plus.Salary rangeThe base pay range for this position is £70,000 – £90,000 annually + discretionary bonus; however, base pay offered may vary depending on location, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.What We OfferCompetitive salaryFlexible / hybrid working (London‑based preferred, occasional remote)Generous annual leave and public holidaysBudget for learning and conferencesCollaborative, high‑ownership culture built around climate impactGreen Project Technologies, Inc is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to ensuring equal opportunity for all applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, Veteran status, or other legally protected characteristics. #J-18808-Ljbffr
