CAD Manager – Highways Location: Union Street, London – remote working available, occasional travel to office required. Hours: Permanent, Fulltime 40 hours per week – flexible hours available on request. Salary: £55,000 – £62,000 per year + private healthcare + benefits. This role is open to candidates (no sponsorship certificates). Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain CAD standards, templates, and workflows across the highways design team. Manage CAD team, providing training, mentoring, and technical support. Coordinate with project managers and engineers to ensure CAD deliverables meet project requirements. Oversee production of 2D and 3D design drawings, models, and visualisations for highways projects, reviewing and approving CAD outputs before submission. Support project coordination meetings and contribute to design reviews. Day to Day Develop, implement, and maintain CAD standards, templates, and workflows across the highways design team. Proven experience in highways design CAD management within consultancy or contractor environments. Strong proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar) and knowledge of highways design standards (DMRB, Manual for Streets, TfL Streetscape).
