ResponsibilitiesThe AV Technician is responsible for implementation of systems our clients use with pride and confidence. Accountabilities may include:Installation of audio-visual equipmentMounted in racksMounted on the wallInstalled from the ceiling, unistrut or I-beamsInstalled in table-cubbies or credenzasInstallation of infrastructure to support AV equipmentThreaded rod/UnistrutLow-voltage electrical boxesSurface or in-wall raceways and conduitsRunning/terminating low-voltage cables to support AV systemsUse of ladders, hand tools and electrical toolsUse of liftsReading and understanding plansFloor plansReflected ceiling plansSchematic diagramsBenefitsMidtown Video will provide:Competitive pay commensurate with experience and performanceTraining on Midtown Video processes and standardsOpportunities for industry training and certifications including OSHA, AVIXA, and specific Manufacturers such as Audinate/Dante, Shure, Crestron, Biamp, etc.System Engineering and technical supportProject implementation and ManagementVehicles, lifts, and some PPEElectronic tools for testing and measuring cables, testing system inputs and outputsBenefits (continued): After a 90 day review period, Midtown Video offers full time employees 5 paid personal days and 7 paid holidays per year.
