Responsibilities Works with Supervisor to ensure required maintenance is completed and performs any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor/management. That performance is in compliance with the Expectation Plan for the Maintenance Department. Proactively carry out PPM schedules and report on a wide variety of manufacturing equipment. Carry out fault finding on manufacturing equipment and be reactive to breakdown repairs/health & safety issues. Carry out general repairs to building and facilities. Carry out continuous improvement plans. This job outline does not place a limitation on the duties of this role. The Multi‑skilled Maintenance Engineer may be required to carry out reasonable, additional or alternative duties from time to time to ensure the efficient functioning of the Company. Key Competencies Reliable, confident, enthusiastic with good communication and interpersonal skills. Well organised with a methodical approach to work. Ability to work within the team, proactively and under pressure. Basic machining competencies required. Ability to work within pre‑determined guidelines. Ability and willingness to embrace new skills. Must have a flexible attitude. Qualifications Must have served a recognised apprenticeship in an electrical/mechanical or electro‑mechanical basis and have gained a minimum C&G level 3 or NVQ equivalent, BTEC or ONC. Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience ideally working within a multi‑skilled industrial environment. BS7671 IEE 18th Edition Wiring. Experience Well organised, good interpersonal skills. Experience working in a multi‑skilled industrial environment. Good working knowledge/fault finding skills of Hydraulics, Pneumatics and electrical circuits. Good problem‑solving skills. Good working knowledge of Health & Safety regulations is important.
