KYN BICKLEY is an 86‑bedroom home offering each resident an elegant and comfortable bedroom, communal areas for dining and reclining; and inviting outdoor terraces overlooking landscaped gardens bordered by woodland. We have a further three care homes in development in London. About the opportunity Supporting the Nurse and Household Care Lead in delivering the highest standards of person‑centred care to individuals living in a KYN residence whilst preserving their dignity, respect and wellbeing. Understanding the personalised care plan for each resident in the designated household and taking responsibility for all aspects of care and assisting with personal care, washing, dressing and supporting continence needs appropriately. Undertaking minor medical duties which may include oral care, skin care (application of topical creams), catheter care and end‑of‑life care. Ensuring privacy, dignity and respect is always maintained for each resident. Creating a nurturing environment where our residents and their family feel loved, happy, safe, and secure. Acting as a brand ambassador who demonstrates and leads the KYN values. About you You will be patient with the ability to deal with difficult situations with tact and diplomacy. You will be an effective team player who builds professional and trusting relationships with every member of the team, ensuring they feel valued. You will have excellent attention to detail and an ability to anticipate problems before they arise. You will have the ability to resolve complaints, investigate and manage incidents effectively and efficiently. You will be a compassionate, empathetic, kind, and caring individual.
