Primary Teacher, Hastings We are working with a fantastic provision in Hastings who are looking for the right individual to join their team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting children with Social and Emotional Needs, and able to teach KS1/KS2. A strong sense of behaviour management is important. Their students range from KS1 through to KS2, with mixed ability classes. They take part in a range of activities to enhance their learning, and they are supported, challenged and encouraged to succeed, both academically and pastorally. Although the school is mainstream, there is a focus on developing the children holistically whilst fostering an inclusive environment, particularly for those with Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties and Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC), including those with Dyslexia and those with a diagnosis of ADHD, which is centred around building independence and togetherness. About the role: You would be in the one School ASAP, Full time. Working with students who have challenging behaviour, attachment and trauma. This is a setting where having a calm, nurturing and empathetic nature is key Some experience within SEND / SEMH preferable not necessity Passionate about supporting students and their social and emotional journey Would accept ECT’s What do I need?
