Overview Art & Design Teacher – Location: Rochdale. Salary: £(Apply online only) per day (includes statutory holiday pay). Job Type: Long-term - full time. Start Date: January 2026 – Easter 2026. About the Role Cover People are currently recruiting for an Art & Design Teacher to join a supportive secondary school based in Rochdale, starting in January 2026. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity for a passionate and creative educator to make a real impact. The successful candidate will be expected to plan, deliver, and assess engaging Art & Design lessons across KS3 & KS4, while contributing positively to the wider school community. Responsibilities Deliver high-quality teaching in line with national curriculum standards Monitor and assess pupil progress effectively Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment Contribute to department planning, meetings, and wider school initiatives Support the academic and personal development of all learners Requirements QTS or equivalent UK teaching qualification Experience teaching KS3 & GCSE Art & Design Strong classroom and behaviour management A passion for teaching and pupil progress Right to work in the UK Why Join Cover People?
