Job Title: Machine Tool Maintenance Technician Location: Tewkesbury Salary: Competitive Shift Pattern: Nights Contract Type: Permanent Role Overview My client is a leading manufacturer specialising in the production of bespoke hydraulic products. They require a capable and conscientious Machine Tool Maintenance Technician to strengthen their maintenance function. This is a permanent nightshift opportunity based at our client's modern, high‑tech site in Tewkesbury. Key Responsibilities Carrying out scheduled servicing and breakdown repairs on CNC and conventional machine tools, plus occasional support for production test rigs. Verifying that all work satisfies stringent quality and calibration standards before handing equipment back to operations. Sourcing replacement components and maintaining adequate stock levels to minimise downtime. Keeping method statements and risk documentation current while observing all safety regulations. Supporting lean initiatives and workplace organisation improvements in line with 5S principles. Qualifications and Requirements Apprentice trained in an Engineering discipline or equivalent. Practical understanding of electrical schematics and diagnostic tools for machine tools. Exposure to automated or robotic equipment is desirable. Comfortable with MS Office applications; experience of computerised maintenance systems is preferred. Positive, can‑do attitude with strong reliability and teamwork values.
