Floor Layer - Social Housing (Liverpool)

Contract Type: Temp-to-Perm (12 weeks)

Rate: £19.00 per hour (PAYE Umbrella)

The Opportunity

Our client, one of the fastest-growing housing associations in the Northwest, is expanding its responsive maintenance team and is now seeking an experienced Floor Layer to work across their social housing stock in Liverpool.

Key Duties

Carry out a full range of flooring installation and repair works

Must have strong experience with vinyl flooring (essential)

Install safety flooring, vinyl sheet, vinyl tiles, and other flooring types

Work across both void and tenanted social housing properties

Liaise directly with tenants/customers, ensuring a professional and respectful service

Requirements

Proven experience as a Floor Layer, particularly with vinyl flooring

NVQ Level 2 or relevant trade qualification (desirable)

Social housing experience or similar customer-facing maintenance background

Full UK driving licence

Must be clean shaven for the FaceFit

No more than 6 points on licence; no alcohol/drug-related bans

Strong customer service and communication skills
